Sonic Copycat Cherry Limeade

Enjoy this delicious and refreshing Sonic Copycat Cherry Limeade packed with plenty of cherry and lime flavor! Easy-to-make at-home recipe!

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1 jar (12 oz.) stemless maraschino cherries with syrup
  • 1 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup
  • 2 liters lemon-lime soda - such as Sierra Mist, 7UP, and Sprite
  • Additional maraschino cherries and lime wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add ice to a tall glass.
  2. Add the cherries with their juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda to a large pitcher. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour the drink mixture over the ice into the glass. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Want to make this more of a slushy consistency? Throw everything in the blender and blend until combined.
  • Although you can buy premade simple syrup, it's super easy to make yourself at home! So be sure to check out my easy recipe how to make your own simple syrup to save money!
  • Pebble or nugget ice is the best for this drink if you can find it or can make it yourself at home.
