- For a more layered look, pour the cream over the back of a spoon instead of straight into the glass.
- You can also make this in a shaker with ice then pour over fresh ice if desired.
- Additional cream can be added to reach the desired taste.

Some people prefer to mix the vodka and coffee-flavored liqueur together and then float the cream on top (like this recipe). Other people prefer to shake all of the ingredients together. Do whatever you prefer.
