I like to “treat” myself with a Homemade Vanilla Frappe sometimes. Save yourself some moola and make them yourself! This one rocks!

And believe me, I do my part of consuming it! 🙂 I drink on average, 4-6 cups of coffee a day. I think it might be an understatement to say I like it. Bring on the Vanilla Frappe!

I chose to try the medium roast, ground. I really liked that it was rich, smooth and full-bodied. This is a delicious and perfectly roasted coffee! I loved the fact that it was not bitter! Bitter coffee I hate, so I have to say I was pleased with Don Tomas! I can tell they take pride in their coffee- all the way from the farm to my door. I really enjoyed this blend, and I can’t wait to try the dark roast the next time!

Save yourself some moola and make them yourself! Your frappe gets off to a great start with some leftover Don Tomas coffee!

Ingredients

• 1 cup cold coffee
• 2 cups ice
• ¼ cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 – 3 tablespoons granulated sugar or to taste
• whipped cream optional
• chocolate syrup or caramel sauce optional

Instructions

 

• Combine the coffee, ice, milk, vanilla, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
• Serve with whipped cream and chocolate if desired.

Notes

• Try adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the blender!
