Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl
Have you seen all of the smoothie bowl recipes popping up on Pinterest?! I have to say, I have wanted to share a smoothie bowl recipe for awhile and I am excited to be a part of the cool kids club since I am actually posting a recipe that is kinda hip and “in’ …….
I love the idea of making your favorite smoothie and then dressing it up with fresh fruit, nuts, granola, chia seeds …. or whatever your heart desires. Currently, one of my favorite smoothies is my Mixed Berry Smoothie. If you’re in a hurry, it’s easy to pour it into a travel cup and drink it on the go! But, if you have the time to actually sit down and enjoy breakfast, then definitely try this smoothie bowl with a sprinkling of coconut, almonds, chia seeds and berries! Oh my gosh, sooooo good!!
I have been looking for a new blender. Mine is about 10-12 years old and has definitely been well used! I was excited to hear about the Hamilton Beach Wave~Actionยฎ System. Have you seen it?
The Hamilton Beach Wave~Actionยฎ System is a powerful and durable blender that easily makes smoothies or shakes, and itโs also great for making soups, sauces, or salsa. Ordinary blenders spin contents around the walls of the jar, which can leave whole chunks untouched by the blades. The Hamilton BeachWave~Actionยฎ System is designed to continually force the mixture down into the blades for consistently smooth results. Hamilton Beach has been making blenders for over a hundred years, so they know a thing or two about it and this one can blend with ease.
Easy-pour
The easy-pour spout eliminates drips and the 700-watt motor easily makes milkshakes, crushes ice and makes quick work when pureeing, dicing, chopping or grinding ingredients for mealtime. The Hamilton Beach Wave~Actionยฎ System also comes with a stir spoon for those thicker foods and mixtures! I love that the buttons clearly indicate what functions it performs. The 48-oz. glass jar is dishwasher safe and I love that this product came with a 3-year limited warranty for peace of mind!
Making the smoothie
This recipe makes two breakfast-sized smoothie bowls or four snack-sized bowls. With back to school, a smoothie bowl would be a great breakfast before school or a quick little snack to tide the kiddos over until dinner time! And don’t forget the toppings!! While we used extra berries, coconut, almonds and chia seeds …. other ingredients like granola, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or cereal O’s (you know, the big yellow box!), would make great additions as well! Just look at these Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowls – it’s almost like a work of art with the colors, textures and fun ingredients! Not only are they pretty, but they’re good for you, too!
If you’re in the market for a new blender (or if you’re thinking ahead to great Christmas gifts!!), check out the Hamilton Beach Wave~Actionยฎ System! I love mine!! My friends at Hamilton Beach were generous enough to offer one lucky Love Bakes Good Cakes reader their very own Hamilton Beach Wave~Actionยฎ System!
