Every great recipe starts with proper seasoning to add lots of flavors. For this recipe, I chose to marinate the pork chops in a delicious combination of olive oil, orange juice, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and various herbs.

Two of my favorite side dishes for this recipe are my Old-Fashioned Potato Salad recipe or Macaroni Salad. I love having a delicious cold salad that I can make ahead. Another favorite since we’ll already have the barbecue going is to serve this Grilled Corn. Then, of course, steamed broccoli is always a favorite, too.

Grilled Pork Chops FAQs
Any leftover grilled pork chops should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. They should be reheated slowly and with added moisture (such as a little water or marinade), so they donโt dry out.
For this recipe, we’re going to cook them over medium heat (300ยฐF-400ยฐF) until they reach an internal temperature of 145ยฐF.
Recipe Tips
- Marinate your pork chops for 8 hours for maximum deliciousness.
- Donโt let the grill get too hot before you start cooking. If you would like a nice sear, make one side of the grill hotter than the other.
- Create a sear on the pork chops with more flame, then cook the rest slowly.
- Use a meat thermometer. Some pork chops will cook faster than others depending on thickness and the bone
- After cooking the pork chops, rest the pork chops for 5 minutes before eating. This allows the moisture to stay sealed inside and the pork chop to stop cooking.
- If you donโt have a grill, or if you prefer to try another way of cooking your chops, you can either use a stovetop grill plate or bake them in the oven at 350ยฐF for 30-35 minutes or until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145ยฐF.
