Strawberry Cream Cheese Dip
Life as a mom gets hectic sometimes, doesnโt it?! It always seems like there is something to do or someone who needs our attention! As the meal planner, grocery shopper, and cook for our family, I need to plan 3 meals a day plus a snack โ for seven people! With five growing kiddos, too, I try to be very conscious about what my family eats.
Luckily, I donโt usually have a problem getting them to eat fruit โฆ but letโs be honest, it can get boring! Have you ever heard this line:
โStrawberries? (Or insert another food here) Again?!โ (moans)
Thatโs what I hear when I buy lots and lots of containers of strawberries! (I get containers of strawberries for around 87 cents each. Itโs economical!) With a little help from some cream cheese, I can whip up a batch of my (easy and kid-famous!) Strawberry Cream Cheese Dip and make those strawberries fun again!
Personally, I like to serve our Strawberry Cream Cheese Fruit Dip with whatever fruit is on sale that week. Add some graham crackers or chocolate animal crackers for the little ones, too!
Since itโs Spring, fresh fruit will be in abundance โ why not treat your family to a fun and easy snack idea? And what is it about dips that makes them so fun to eat, anyway? Theyโre all so, so addicting! Enjoy.
Strawberry Dip: Ingredients & Equipment
To make this Strawberry Cream Cheese Fruit Dip, you will need …
Ingredients
- strawberry cream cheese – about 1 tub. I tend to head to Walmart and use Philadelphia Strawberry Cream Cheese, but you can use whatever brand you like!!
- marshmallow creme – also called marshmallow fluff. This provides the fluffy texture and additional sweet flavor that makes this dip so, so addicting. If you can’t find it at your local store or if you prefer to make it homemade, I have a recipe for homemade Marshmallow Fluff!
Equipment
- bowl – this is a one-bowl recipe โฆ how awesome is that?! Youโll only need it to mix the cream cheese and marshmallow creme together.
Cream Cheese Dip: FAQs
About a cup or cup and a half of it!!
Refrigerate it in a covered container for up to 3-4 days!
I wouldnโt recommend it since it doesnโt freeze and thaw well at all. It tends to crumble and separate. Iโve found using full-fat cream cheese helps with this a little, but not enough for me to want to store it. Instead, I just make a new batch each time.
Just a couple of minutes. All youโll have to do is ensure the ingredients are fully mixed. No secrets here!
Besides fruit (strawberries, grapes, apples โฆ) or graham crackers like I said above, you can try โฆ
– mini snack cookies
– vanilla wafersย
– angel food cake
– bagels or mini bagels
– You can also try throwing it into fruit parfait. Yum!!
Absolutely! In fact, I recommend it!! Crepes, shortcakes, fairy bread โฆ these all taste amazing with some strawberry cream cheese dip.
Not at all. Iโd say you could just use a fork, honestly!
Not in particular, since I feel like any you have available to you should be good.ย

Dips really are fun! They do put people in a party mood. Last year I was hard pressed to find decent strawberries. This year I've already struck gold several times!
I'm thinking this would be an awesome addition to an Easter brunch. Thanks for sharing, Jamie!

You're right dips do make food fun. We can't get strawberry cream cheese or marshmallow creme here, but this certainly gives me a great idea for a strawberry dip maybe using fresh strawberries and mascarpone.
