When it comes to easy dessert recipes, this just might be the easiest one I’ve ever shared! This Candy Cane Dip is perfect for holiday office parties, get-togethers with friends, or on your holiday menu. It comes together quickly and easily, and your friends and family will happily devour it all!
This recipe starts off with a brick of softened cream cheese combined with powdered sugar, peppermint extract, vanilla extract, whipped topping (Cool Whip), and crushed candy canes.

How to make Dessert Dip
Ingredients
- cream cheese – any unflavored kind (full-fat or reduced fat)
- powdered sugar
- peppermint extract
- vanilla extract
- whipped topping – such as Cool Whip
- crushed candy canes
- Assorted cookies for dipping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping and half of the crushed candy canes.
- If desired, transfer to a serving bowl. Chill until serving time, at least 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, top with the remaining crushed candy canes.
