Best way to reheat a Venison Burger
There are a few different ways to reheat your burgers. My personal preference is in the oven, followed by the grill, and lastly, the microwave. Below, you’ll find my recommendation on how to reheat your patties.
OVEN: Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF. Place the patty on a cooling rack on a baking sheet. Heat the burger for 3-7 minutes, or until heated through.
GRILL: Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the patty over the heat source and grill for 2-3 minutes, flip the patty, and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
MICROWAVE: Place a patty on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with a paper towel. Microwave on 30% power for 2-3 minutes or until fully heated through.

Divide the meat mixture into 6 even-sized patties. Make a small indention in the center of each patty and place them on a sheet tray until you are ready to grill.

If you are using cheese: A couple of minutes before the burgers are ready, add a slice of cheese on top. Close the grill and let the cheese melt on top.
- Serve.
Serve the burgers on hamburger buns with your favorite burger toppings.
Recipe Tips
- This is an extremely flavorful burger seasoning, and it also works well with ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey, or even ground pork!
- Change up the flavor of your burgers by trying different spices and seasonings.
- I suggest not cooking these over medium-well (155ยฐF) as venison meat tends to dry out, about 3-5 minutes per side.
- Ground venison is very similar in taste to ground beef, so it works well in dishes that call for ground beef.
