With Easter just around the corner, I’ve been dying to share this recipe with you! My family really enjoys this recipe, and I know you will, too!
This recipe is so easy, and everyone loves the sweet and savory glaze. The glaze comes together rather quickly. Then is coated on the ham before being baked to perfection.
Although we’ll be enjoying the recipe for Easter this year in the LBGC house, it’s also a great recipe for Christmas or for a Sunday dinner with the whole family!

Ingredients for the ham
- fully cooked bone-in spiral ham
- brown sugar
- apricot preserves
- Dijon mustard
How to make Apricot Dijon Spiral Ham
Time needed: 1 hour and 30 minutes
How to make Apricot Dijon Spiral Ham
- Preheat oven and place ham in baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Place the ham cut side down in a shallow roasting pan or baking dish.
- Prepare the glaze and pour half of it over the ham.
Combine the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apricot preserves in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until combined. Let the mixture start to bubble while constantly stirring. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove the glaze from the heat and spoon half of the mixture over the ham.
- Bake.
Bake the ham, uncovered, for 1 hour.
- Top the ham with the remaining glaze and continue to bake.
Spoon the remaining glaze over the ham and bake another 15-30 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 140ยฐF and the ham is heated through.
- Slice and serve.
Slice and serve immediately!

- Choose half a smoked bone-in ham labeled “fully cooked.” For this recipe, a country-style ham would be too dry and salty.

Gently cooking the ham without overcooking it is the best way to keep it from drying out.
