It’s been warm here in Phoenix. I don’t know about you, but there are days when I just don’t feel like cooking – especially when it’s hot. Take-out or delivery is not an option for us, so we have to keep things that are easy to prepare for when those days hit that I don’t want to cook! Sandwiches are one of our go-to meals when that mood strikes – and these Ham, Swiss and Pineapple Sandwiches couldn’t be easier!

Ham, Swiss and Pineapple Sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 Oroweat® Sandwich Thins® 100% Whole Wheat Rolls
- 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 4 lettuce leaves
- ½ pound deli-sliced ham 8 oz.
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 – 8 pineapple rings drained and patted dry
Instructions
- Split each roll in half.
- Spread one teaspoon of Dijon mustard on the cut-side of the bottom roll.
- Top each with a lettuce leaf.
- Divide the ham evenly between the rolls.
- Top each sandwich with a slice of cheese and one or two pineapple rings. Replace the top portion of the roll.
- Serve!
Notes
- Swap in your favorite cheese if you aren’t a fan of Swiss.
